Driftssekvenser, also known as drift sequences, are a series of maneuvers used in drifting, a motorsport discipline that involves sliding a vehicle sideways in a controlled manner. These sequences are typically performed on a closed course, such as a racetrack, and are often used to showcase the vehicle's handling capabilities and the driver's skill.

The basic driftssekvens consists of three main phases: the approach, the drift, and the exit. During the approach, the driver accelerates the vehicle and turns the steering wheel in the direction of the intended drift. The drift phase begins when the driver releases the accelerator and applies the brakes, causing the vehicle to slide sideways. The exit phase occurs when the driver re-applies the accelerator and steers the vehicle back onto the track.

There are several variations of driftssekvenser, including the 360-degree drift, where the vehicle completes a full circle before exiting, and the 180-degree drift, where the vehicle turns halfway before exiting. Some drivers also perform more complex sequences, such as the double drift, where the vehicle drifts in one direction, then drifts in the opposite direction before exiting.
