Dijumpai is a fictional village used in world-building and speculative fiction. In common depictions, it lies on the southeastern coast of the island of Asteros in the fictional archipelago of Veridia, facing the Sable Sea. The name is often described as deriving from the local language elements di- and jumpai, though etymologies vary by source.

Geography and population. The village spans roughly 2.3 square kilometers with cliffs to the north and a protected harbor to the south. Population estimates range around 1,000 to 1,200 residents, predominantly fishermen and artisans. The economy centers on fishing, boatbuilding, and seasonal farming, with a small market that serves neighboring settlements.

History and governance. Dijumpai is said to have been founded in the mid-16th century by the Dijumpa clan, who established a trading post and a shrine to the sea. It developed as a regional hub for goods moving between inland caravans and maritime routes. Today it is governed by a village council led by a mayor, with a district court, if any, under the larger municipal framework of Veridia.
