diagragmätare
A "diagragmätare" is a Swedish term that translates to "diaphragm gauge" in English. It refers to a type of pressure gauge that utilizes a flexible diaphragm as its sensing element. This diaphragm, typically made of metal or a synthetic material, deforms or deflects in response to changes in pressure. The extent of this deflection is then translated into a readable pressure indication, often by mechanical linkage to a pointer on a dial. Diaphragm gauges are commonly used for measuring low to moderate pressures, and they can be designed to handle corrosive or viscous fluids due to the isolation of the diaphragm from the process medium by a secondary fluid or membrane. Their simplicity and robustness make them suitable for a variety of industrial and scientific applications where a direct visual indication of pressure is required. Unlike some other pressure measuring devices, diaphragm gauges can be particularly useful in situations where a very small pressure change needs to be detected.
