derivoituvaksi

Derivoituvaksi is a Finnish term that translates loosely to "derivable" or "capable of being derived." It is most commonly used in mathematics and logic to describe a property of functions or expressions. A function or expression is considered derivoituvaksi if its derivative exists. The derivative of a function at a particular point represents the instantaneous rate of change of the function at that point, and geometrically, it corresponds to the slope of the tangent line to the function's graph at that point.

For a function f(x) to be derivoituvaksi at a point x=a, the limit of the difference quotient as h approaches 0 must exist. This limit is expressed as lim (h->0) [f(a+h) - f(a)] / h.
