dampfbildung
Dampfbildung, also known as vaporization or boiling, is the process by which a substance in a liquid state changes to a gaseous state due to an increase in temperature and/or pressure. This transformation occurs when the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the surrounding atmospheric pressure. At this point, the liquid molecules have enough kinetic energy to overcome the intermolecular forces holding them together and escape into the air as vapor.
The temperature at which this occurs is called the boiling point. The boiling point of a substance
Dampfbildung is a fundamental thermodynamic process with numerous applications. It is crucial in many industrial processes
