Dart is a general-purpose, object-oriented programming language designed for client-side development. It can compile to native code for mobile and desktop platforms, and to JavaScript for web applications. The language supports sound static typing, asynchronous programming with 'async' and 'await', and features such as null safety. It is the primary language used with the Flutter UI toolkit to build cross-platform apps.
