cumec
A cumec is a unit of volumetric flow rate, commonly used in hydrology and water management. The term is an abbreviation derived from "cubic meters per second". It represents the volume of water flowing through a given cross-sectional area of a river, canal, or other water channel in one second. One cumec is equivalent to one cubic meter of water passing a point per second.
This unit is widely adopted in many countries for measuring river discharge, irrigation flow, and water supply
