continuosité
Continuïté is a concept central to mathematics, particularly in calculus and analysis, that describes the property of a function without any breaks, jumps, or holes. A function is considered continuous at a point if three conditions are met: the function must be defined at that point, the limit of the function as it approaches that point must exist, and the value of the function at that point must equal the limit. Graphically, this means that if you can draw the graph of a function without lifting your pen from the paper, it is continuous.
The idea of continuity is fundamental for many mathematical operations and theorems. For instance, the Intermediate
Discontinuities, on the other hand, occur when one or more of these three conditions are not met.
