Centrifugestøbning is a metal casting process that utilizes centrifugal force to create hollow cylindrical parts. In this method, molten metal is poured into a rotating mold. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation pushes the molten metal outwards against the mold walls, filling the cavity and solidifying. This process is particularly well-suited for producing pipes, tubes, bushings, and other symmetrical components with a hollow center.

The key advantage of centrifugestøbning is its ability to produce dense, homogeneous castings with good mechanical properties.
