Brumm is a town and municipality in the northern Veridia. Located on the Brumm River, it covers about 44 square kilometers and has a population of around 7,200. It serves as the administrative center of the Brumm District and provides local services for surrounding villages.

Geographically, Brumm sits on rolling farmland with pockets of woodland. The climate is temperate, with mild summers and cool winters; average annual precipitation is around 650 millimeters.

The area has medieval origins, with the first documentary references to Brumm dating from the 13th century. The town received its formal charter in 1276. Industrial activity grew in the 19th century around river mills and small workshops.

Today Brumm's economy relies on agriculture, including cereals and dairy, supplemented by light manufacturing and services. The town acts as a local market hub for nearby communities and offers employment in education and healthcare.

Transportation includes Brumm Station on the regional rail line and a network of roads linking to larger urban centers. The nearest airport is outside the municipality.

Cultural life centers on Brumm Tower, a 14th-century landmark, and the Brumm Museum of Local History. The annual Brumm Festival in late summer draws residents and visitors for music, crafts, and food.

Demographics are predominantly Veridian-speaking, with small immigrant communities. The town governance comprises a mayor and a 12-seat council, operating within the Brumm District framework.

The name Brumm probably derives from an old Veridian word for a bend in the river or a bridge, though exact origins are uncertain and appear in records from the 13th century onward.
