Baskijski is an adjective used in several languages to refer to matters related to the Basque people, their language, or the Basque Country. It is derived from Basque ethnonyms and toponyms and may prefix terms related to culture, history, or geography in appropriate linguistic contexts.

The Basque people, known in Basque as Euskaldunak, are an indigenous population inhabiting the Basque Country in the western Pyrenees, spanning parts of northern Spain and southwestern France. Major Basque communities live in the Basque Autonomous Community and Navarre in Spain, as well as in Pyrénées-Atlantiques in France. The Basque language, Euskara, is a language isolate, not related to surrounding Indo-European languages, and has long coexisted with Spanish and French.

Modern revival efforts include standardization through Batua, a standardized form created in the mid-20th century to unify dialects, and widespread use in education and media within Basque regions. Today, many Basque speakers are bilingual, using both Basque and the dominant local language.

Basque culture is distinguished by its own traditions, cuisine, music, sports, literature, and festivals, contributing to regional identity and cultural diversity in the Iberian Peninsula and parts of France. Linguistically, Basque features a rich morphology with affixation and, in some tenses, ergative–absolutive alignment. It remains a central symbol of regional pride and minority language policy in Spain, France, and the European Union, with ongoing efforts to promote the language across schools, media, and public life.
