Anukleáció is a term used in biology, specifically in the study of cell division and reproduction, to describe the process of the nucleus of a cell dividing. This is a fundamental step in both mitosis and meiosis, the two primary ways eukaryotic cells replicate. In essence, anukleáció refers to the segregation of the genetic material, housed within the nucleus, into two or more daughter nuclei.

The process of anukleáció is highly regulated and involves complex molecular machinery. Before anukleáció can occur, the cell's chromosomes must be duplicated during the S phase of the cell cycle. These duplicated chromosomes, known as sister chromatids, are then carefully maneuvered and separated to ensure that each daughter cell receives a complete and identical set of genetic information. This separation is orchestrated by the mitotic spindle, a structure composed of microtubules.

Anukleáció is distinct from cytokinesis, which is the division of the cytoplasm.
