Antiderivatiiv is a fundamental concept in calculus. It refers to a function whose derivative is a given function. In simpler terms, if you have a function f(x), its antiderivative F(x) is a function such that the derivative of F(x) with respect to x is equal to f(x). This is often expressed as F'(x) = f(x). The process of finding an antiderivative is called antidifferentiation or integration.

The relationship between differentiation and antidifferentiation is inverse. Just as addition is the inverse of subtraction, and multiplication is the inverse of division, finding an antiderivative undoes the process of differentiation. For example, if the derivative of x^2 is 2x, then the antiderivative of 2x is x^2.

However, there's a crucial detail: when finding an antiderivative, there are infinitely many possible solutions. This is because the derivative of a constant is always zero.
