Aminogruper is a term used in speculative chemistry and science fiction to denote a modular molecular motif that fuses an amino group with a central scaffold called a gruper. It is not a recognized term in mainstream chemistry and is generally used in worldbuilding, thought experiments, or fictional chemistry scenarios.

In the fictional framework, a gruper is a generic core structure—often a small ring system, cage, or polycyclic scaffold—that can host substituents and modulate steric and electronic properties. The amino group provides sites for hydrogen bonding, proton transfer, and nucleophilic reactions, enabling aminogruper units to participate in imagined catalysis, sensing, or drug-like binding. Variants may differ by the nature of the core, such as aliphatic rings, heterocycles, or conjugated systems, and by substituents attached to the core or to the amino nitrogen.
