Amidiste refers to a practitioner or follower of Amidism, a syncretic religious tradition that originated in Southeast Asia, particularly in Cambodia. Amidism blends elements of Theravada Buddhism, Brahmanism (Hinduism), and indigenous animistic beliefs.
