alocamos

Alocamos is the first-person plural present indicative form of the Portuguese verb alocar. The verb means to allocate, assign, designate, or earmark resources, space, or tasks in a variety of contexts, including business, logistics, and information technology.

The verb alocar comes from Latin allocare, from the idea of placing something in a designated place. In contemporary Portuguese, alocar is used especially in technical and administrative language to describe designating resources, time, or space for a specific purpose.
