Alaaiheiden is a term used to refer to followers of a syncretic religion that emerged in the 19th century in the Arabian Peninsula. The religion combines elements of Shia Islam, Sufism, and other mystical traditions. Central to Alaaiheiden beliefs is the veneration of Ali ibn Abi Talib, the cousin and son-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. They consider Ali to be the true successor to Muhammad and the manifestation of divine will.

The faith is characterized by a strong emphasis on esoteric knowledge, spiritual purification, and the pursuit of inner truth. Alaaiheiden communities are often organized around a spiritual leader who is believed to possess divine insight and guidance. Ritual practices can include communal prayers, devotional chanting, and symbolic ceremonies. While sharing some common ground with mainstream Islamic sects, Alaaiheiden theology and practices diverge in significant ways, particularly in their understanding of divine authority and leadership.
