aistiväylänä
Aistiväylänä refers to a sensory pathway, a neural route through which sensory information travels from its initial point of reception in the body to the brain for processing. These pathways are fundamental to our perception of the world around us. For example, the visual pathway begins with light entering the eye, stimulating photoreceptor cells, and then transmitting signals through the optic nerve to the visual cortex in the brain. Similarly, the auditory pathway processes sound waves from the ear to the auditory cortex. Other major sensory pathways include those for touch, taste, smell, and proprioception (the sense of body position).
Each aistiväylä is characterized by a series of neurons that relay signals. These neurons are often organized
