Absorberries are a fictional fruit from the game "Plants vs. Zombies 2". They are a plant-based projectile that absorbs incoming projectiles and converts them into a damaging blast. Absorberries are a defensive and offensive plant, capable of protecting other plants from damage while simultaneously attacking zombies.

The appearance of an Absorberry plant is a large, round berry with a glowing core. When zombies attack with projectiles, such as those from Imps or Bungees, the Absorberry will absorb them into its core. Once a certain number of projectiles have been absorbed, or after a set amount of time, the Absorberry will release the stored energy in a powerful explosion. This explosion damages all zombies in a radius around the Absorberry.

In terms of gameplay, Absorberries are a valuable asset in levels where projectile-heavy zombies are prevalent. They can negate a significant amount of damage that would otherwise harm the player's more vulnerable plants, such as peashooters or sunflowers. The explosion radius and damage can also provide crowd control, clearing out groups of zombies. Their strategic placement is key to maximizing their defensive and offensive capabilities. They require sun to be planted, like most other plants in the game. Their effectiveness can be further enhanced by plant food, which typically increases the absorption capacity and the power of the subsequent explosion.
