Zygerria

Zygerria is a fictional planet located in the Zygerrian system, featured in the Star Wars universe. It is the homeworld of the Zygerrians, a species known for their predatory nature and their historical involvement in the slave trade. The planet's appearance is often depicted as arid and rocky, with a harsh environment that may have contributed to the Zygerrians' resilient and formidable character.

The Zygerrian Empire, based on Zygerria, once spanned a considerable portion of the galaxy, accumulating vast wealth and power through the enslavement of numerous species. Their influence was particularly strong during the era of the Old Republic. However, the Empire's reign was eventually brought to an end, and the Zygerrians were largely defeated and subjugated.

In later galactic history, during the Clone Wars, a resurgent Zygerrian Empire, led by Queen Miraj Scintel, attempted to rebuild their slave trade network, posing a significant threat to the Galactic Republic. Their efforts were ultimately thwarted by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the forces of the Republic. The Zygerrians are often portrayed as cunning strategists and formidable warriors, deeply proud of their heritage.
