Ziliárs

Ziliárs are an ethnolinguistic group inhabiting the central highlands and river valleys of the fictional region of Narior. They are defined by a distinct language, Ziliár, and a long-standing tradition of terrace agriculture, weaving, and metalwork.

History and society: The Ziliárs trace their origins to earlier highland communities that consolidated into a distinct group by the middle of the first millennium. Social life centers on kin-based clans, communal labor, and seasonal rituals tied to agriculture.

Modern status: In the contemporary states that encompass Narior, Ziliárs are recognized as an indigenous or minority population in some areas. Population estimates vary, and efforts exist to preserve language and traditional crafts through education and cultural programs.
