Ziffernoptionen, also known as digit options or binary options on single digits, are a type of financial derivative contract. They are designed to offer a payout based on whether a specific digit of a price feed appears or not within a defined timeframe. Typically, these options are associated with real-time price feeds of various financial instruments like forex pairs, commodities, or indices.

The core concept of a ziffernoption is quite simple. Traders predict whether a specific digit (0 through 9) will appear as the last digit of a price at a certain point in time. For example, a trader might bet on whether the last digit of the EUR/USD exchange rate will be a '7' in the next minute. If the prediction is correct, the trader receives a predetermined payout, often a fixed percentage of their investment. If the prediction is incorrect, the investment is lost.

These instruments are often characterized by their short durations, sometimes lasting only a minute or even less. This short-term nature makes them appealing to traders seeking quick profit opportunities.
