Zekharya
Zekharya is a prominent figure in the Hebrew Bible, appearing as the author of the Book of Zechariah, the eleventh of the Minor Prophets. His name, meaning "Yahweh remembers," is fitting for the prophetic messages he delivered. Zechariah was a priest as well as a prophet, active during the post-exilic period, specifically from the second year of Darius' reign (520 BCE) onwards. He prophesied alongside Haggai, encouraging the returned exiles in Jerusalem to rebuild the Second Temple.
