Zakynthos
Zakynthos, also known as Zante, is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea and part of the Ionian Islands regional unit. It lies off the west coast of mainland Greece, south of Kefalonia and north of Ithaca. The island covers about 405 square kilometers and features a rugged interior with peaks such as Mount Skopos and Mount Vrachionas. The principal town and capital is Zakynthos Town (Zante), a historic port with Venetian-influenced architecture. The main airport is Zakynthos International Airport "Dionysios Solomos" (ZTH).
