Yuwaalaraay
Yuwaalaraay is an Australian Aboriginal language traditionally spoken by the Yuwaalaraay people of northern New South Wales. It is part of the large Pama-Nyungan language family. The Yuwaalaraay language is closely related to the Gamilaraay and Wailwan languages, and these languages are sometimes grouped together as part of the Yuwaalaraay cluster or dialect continuum.
Historically, the Yuwaalaraay language was spoken across a significant area, encompassing regions around the present-day towns
In recent decades, there has been a concerted effort by Yuwaalaraay descendants and language revitalisation programs
