Yingxian
Yingxian is a county in Shanxi province, China. It is located in the northern part of the province, under the administration of the city of Shuozhou. The county is known for its historical and cultural significance, particularly for the Sakyamuni Pagoda, also known as the Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian. This pagoda is the oldest and largest wooden pagoda in China, built during the Liao Dynasty in the 11th century. It stands 67 meters tall and is a remarkable example of ancient Chinese wooden architecture, having survived numerous earthquakes and conflicts.
