Yapmaynian
Yapmaynian refers to the indigenous people and culture of Yap, an island in the Federated States of Micronesia. The Yapese people have a rich history and unique traditions that have been preserved for centuries. Their society is traditionally organized around a complex system of social status and land ownership. A notable aspect of Yapese culture is the use of "fai," large stone discs often carved from limestone, as a form of currency and wealth.
