YSRCP
The YSR Congress Party, officially known as the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), is a regional political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was founded by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in March 2009. The party's ideology is rooted in the principles of social justice, welfare, and development, often drawing inspiration from the policies and legacy of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan Mohan Reddy's late father and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP focuses on issues concerning farmers, laborers, and youth, aiming to address their economic and social needs. The party has achieved significant electoral success in Andhra Pradesh. In the 2019 general elections, the YSRCP won a landslide victory, securing a majority of seats in the Legislative Assembly and also performing well in the Lok Sabha elections held concurrently in the state. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh following this electoral triumph. The party's governance agenda has emphasized various welfare schemes and developmental projects aimed at different sections of society.
