YAGlaser

YAG laser is a type of solid-state laser that uses a yttrium aluminum garnet crystal doped with neodymium as its active medium. The Nd:YAG laser is the most common type of YAG laser and emits light at a wavelength of 1064 nanometers in the infrared spectrum. This wavelength is invisible to the human eye.

Nd:YAG lasers are known for their high power output and ability to operate continuously or in pulsed modes. The crystal structure of YAG allows for efficient energy storage and dissipation, contributing to the laser's robustness and reliability. They can be pumped by flashlamps or semiconductor diodes.
