Xutos

Xutos is a Portuguese rock band formed in Lisbon in 1978. The band's name is an abbreviation of "Xutos & Pontapés," which translates to "Kicks and Punches." They are considered one of the most influential and enduring rock bands in Portugal. Their music is characterized by a hard rock sound with elements of punk and blues, often featuring socially and politically charged lyrics.

The original lineup included Zé Pedro (guitar), Tim (bass), Kalú (drums), and Zé Leonel (vocals). Over the years, there have been several changes in personnel, with João Cabeleira joining on guitar and Ivan Santos later on drums. The band's discography includes numerous studio albums, live recordings, and compilations.
