Xdrypct
Xdrypct is a metric used in materials science and quality control to quantify the dryness of a sample after a standardized drying procedure. It is defined as the ratio of the dry mass of a sample, Md, to its initial mass, Mi, expressed as a percentage: Xdrypct = (Md / Mi) × 100. Md is obtained after drying the sample under specified conditions (such as a defined temperature, time, and atmosphere) until a constant mass is reached.
The concept is applied across industries where moisture content can affect product performance, stability, or shelf
Procedure and interpretation typically involve first weighing the sample to obtain Mi, then subjecting it to
Limitations include potential loss or decomposition of volatile components during drying, chemical changes under the drying
