Xbarg

Xbarg is a blockchain protocol and decentralized application platform designed to enable scalable, interoperable data exchange and computation across organizational boundaries. It combines a Layer 1 consensus engine with a Layer 2 execution and data layer, allowing high-throughput transactions while preserving strong finality and security.

Core technology includes a hybrid consensus mechanism that blends practical Byzantine fault tolerance style finality with stake-based security, shard-aware architecture to parallelize processing, and a cross-chain bridge standard called XBridge for interoperable assets and data.

Smart contracts on Xbarg are written in XbScript, a statically-typed language designed for safety and performance, executed on a deterministic virtual machine. The network supports privacy features such as optional zero-knowledge proofs and selective disclosure. The native token XBG is used for staking, fees, and governance.

Xbarg was developed by Nebula Foundation, with the mainnet launched in 2020 and subsequent major upgrades expanding data availability, cross-chain throughput, and developer tooling. The ecosystem hosts a growing set of dApps in supply chain, finance, and digital identity.
