Wordstructural refers to the study and analysis of the internal composition of words. This field investigates how words are formed from smaller meaningful units, known as morphemes. Morphemes are the basic building blocks of words and can be either free, meaning they can stand alone as words themselves (e.g., "cat," "run"), or bound, meaning they must be attached to another morpheme to form a word (e.g., "-s" for plural, "un-" for negation).

Wordstructural analysis breaks down words into their constituent morphemes to understand their meaning, grammatical function, and etymology. For instance, the word "unbreakable" can be analyzed into three morphemes: "un-" (bound, meaning not), "break" (free, meaning to fracture), and "-able" (bound, meaning capable of being).
