Wonyoung

Wonyoung, born Jang Won-young (장원영) on September 1, 2004, is a South Korean singer and dancer. She rose to prominence as the winner of the 2018 reality competition Produce 48 and became a member of the girl group IZ*ONE, formed from the show. Debuting with IZ*ONE in October 2018, Wonyoung was among the youngest members in the group and was widely described as its visual, noted for her height and stage presence.

IZ*ONE released music and gained popularity in Korea and internationally until their contract concluded and the group disbanded in 2021. After IZ*ONE’s disbandment, Wonyoung joined Starship Entertainment and debuted as a member of the girl group IVE in December 2021. As a member of IVE, she has participated in multiple releases, including the debut single Eleven (2021) and subsequent hits such as Love Dive (2022).

Beyond music, Wonyoung has pursued fashion and media appearances, including magazine shoots and television appearances, contributing to her prominence as a leading young figure in Korean pop culture. She is noted for her tall stature relative to many peers and for her ongoing role as a performer across multiple projects.
