Wollumbin

Wollumbin, also known as Mount Warning, is a shield volcano located in the Tweed Caldera in northern New South Wales, Australia. It is a prominent landmark and holds significant cultural importance for the Bundjalung people, who consider it a sacred place. The mountain's name, Wollumbin, means "cloud catcher" in the Bundjalung language.

Geologically, Wollumbin is the remnants of a large shield volcano that erupted millions of years ago. Its caldera, the Tweed Caldera, is one of the most significant volcanic structures in Australia. The surrounding landscape is characterized by lush rainforests and fertile volcanic soils, supporting a diverse range of flora and fauna.
