Wohnst

Wohnst is the second-person singular present tense form of the German verb wohnen, meaning to live or to reside. It is used with the informal subject pronoun du, as in Du wohnst in Berlin. The corresponding formal form is Sie wohnen. The infinitive is wohnen and the past participle is gewohnt. The simple past for du does not exist in standard spoken German; past forms use haben+gewohnt in combination with other verbs or the preterite forms in writing.
