Wiehl

Wiehl is a town and municipality in the Oberbergischer Kreis, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies in the Bergisches Land, an upland region to the east of Cologne, and comprises several districts. The town serves as an administrative center for the surrounding area and is part of the larger Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.

The municipality includes Bielstein, Drabenderhöhe, Oberwiehl and other localities. The surrounding countryside is hilly and forested, with small farms and residential areas that reflect the blend of rural and commuter housing in the region. Local parks and walking trails are common in the area.
