Westlife

Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group. The group was formed in 1998 by Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, and Brian McFadden. They were initially managed by Louis Walsh, who also managed Boyzone. Westlife released their debut single "Swear It Again" in 1999. Their first album, "Westlife," followed later that year.

Throughout their career, Westlife achieved significant commercial success, particularly in the United Kingdom and Ireland. They are known for their ballads and pop songs. The group has released numerous studio albums and singles, many of which have topped the charts. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Brian McFadden departed from the group in 2004 to pursue a solo career. The remaining four members continued as a quartet. In 2011, Westlife announced their disbandment, concluding with a farewell tour. However, the group reunited in 2018 with all five original members, including Brian McFadden. They subsequently released new music and embarked on further tours. Their music often features strong vocal harmonies and polished production.
