Geography: Werdest sits at a natural harbor with low hills to the east and a temperate, maritime climate. The surrounding countryside supports mixed farming, orchards, and small forests.

History: In most renderings, the settlement dates to the medieval era and grew as a fishing and trading post. It experienced periods of conflict and reconstruction, and in later centuries it joined a regional confederation that coordinated defense and infrastructure.
