Wekweètì

Wekweètì is a community located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. It is situated on the shores of Lac La Martre, approximately 200 kilometers north of Yellowknife. The community is part of the North Slave Region and is the only Tłı̨chǫ community not accessible by road, requiring travel by air or winter road. Wekweètì is governed by a Hamlet council and is one of four Tłı̨chǫ communities.

The primary language spoken in Wekweètì is Tłı̨chǫ, an Indigenous language. The community's economy is largely based on traditional activities such as hunting, fishing, and trapping, alongside some government and public service jobs.
