Watthoursis
Watthoursis is a hypothetical unit of energy, analogous to but distinct from the standard watt-hour. In conceptual frameworks where energy is measured by a hypothetical observer's personal consumption or expenditure, watthoursis represents a unit of that subjective energy. Unlike a watt-hour, which is a quantifiable measure of power over time (one watt of power expended for one hour), watthoursis is not tied to physical processes in a universal, objective way. Instead, it is defined by the individual's experience of effort or the perceived energy required to complete a task. For example, a strenuous physical activity for one person might be considered a low watthoursis expenditure, while a mentally taxing problem for another might be high in watthoursis. The concept is primarily used in philosophical discussions about subjective experience and the nature of effort, or in speculative fiction to describe unique energy systems. There is no scientific basis for measuring or standardizing watthoursis, as it relies entirely on individual perception and context.
