Wardenclyffe
Wardenclyffe was a colossal tower built by Nikola Tesla on the north shore of Long Island, New York, between 1901 and 1903. Its primary purpose was to be a global wireless communication system, transmitting messages, telephone calls, and even faxes across the Atlantic. The tower, standing 187 feet tall with a mushroom-shaped dome at its apex, was designed to harness and broadcast electrical energy wirelessly, a concept far ahead of its time.
