Wadaa
Wadaa is a concept that can be understood in several contexts, primarily within Islamic jurisprudence and social interactions. In a religious context, Wadaa refers to the farewell pilgrimage undertaken by the Islamic prophet Muhammad. This pilgrimage, occurring in the tenth year of the Hijra (632 CE), is highly significant as it was the only Hajj Muhammad performed and is believed to have been the occasion for him to deliver his final sermon, known as the Farewell Sermon. This sermon contained important teachings on monotheism, the rights of women, the sanctity of life and property, and the abolition of certain pre-Islamic customs.
