Võõrrakke

Võõrrakke is a term used in Estonian linguistics to describe a loanword or a word borrowed from a foreign language. These words are incorporated into the Estonian lexicon and are often adapted to fit Estonian phonology and grammar. The process of adopting võõrrakke has been ongoing throughout Estonian history, influenced by contact with various languages due to trade, political, and cultural exchanges.
