Víkingaheimar

Víkingaheimar, meaning "Viking Worlds," is a museum located in Reykjanesbær, Iceland, dedicated to the Viking Age. It was established in 2005 and aims to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of Iceland's Viking history and heritage. The museum showcases the country's settlement and the lives of its early inhabitants.

The central exhibit at Víkingaheimar is a replica of a Viking ship, the Íslendingur, which sailed from Iceland to Greenland and Newfoundland in 2000, recreating Leif Erikson's voyage.
