This artificial climate is maintained to optimize conditions for plant growth, often allowing for the cultivation of species that would not otherwise survive in the local outdoor climate. Temperature is a primary factor. Greenhouses trap solar radiation, leading to higher temperatures than the external environment. Air circulation is important for preventing stagnant air, reducing the risk of diseases, and ensuring an even distribution of heat and carbon dioxide.
