Vätskebridgar, often translated as liquid bridges, are a phenomenon observed in fluid dynamics where a continuous thread or column of liquid forms between two solid surfaces. This occurs when the adhesive forces between the liquid and the surfaces are strong enough to overcome the cohesive forces within the liquid and external forces like gravity. The shape and stability of a liquid bridge are determined by a balance of forces, including surface tension, gravity, and viscous forces.
