Värva

Värva is a Swedish verb that means to recruit, enlist, or hire someone to join a group, organization, or undertaking. It is used for recruiting employees for a company, volunteers for a project, or soldiers for the military, and it can also refer to attracting support, members, or resources to a cause or campaign. In political campaigns and civil society work, it is common to talk about trying to värva röster, värva medlemmar, or värva nya kunder.

The verb can take various objects, for example värva någon till en organisation, värva personal, or värva volontärer.
