Värikanaville is a Finnish term that translates to "color channels" in English. It refers to the separate components that make up a color image. Most digital color images are represented using a combination of primary colors. The most common color models utilizing these channels are RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black).

In the RGB model, each pixel's color is defined by the intensity of red, green, and blue light. These three color channels are additive, meaning that combining them in different proportions can create a wide spectrum of colors. This model is typically used for displays and digital media.
