Vähäjoki
Vähäjoki is a small river located in the Pirkanmaa region of Finland. It is a tributary of the larger Kokemäenjoki River, which flows into the Gulf of Bothnia. The river originates from the small lake Vähäjärvi, located in the town of Sastamala. Vähäjoki flows through the municipalities of Sastamala and Tampere, before eventually merging with the Kokemäenjoki River near the town of Pälkäne. The river is approximately 20 kilometers long and has a catchment area of about 150 square kilometers. Vähäjoki is known for its clear waters and the diverse wildlife that inhabits its banks, including various bird species and fish. The river is also an important water source for the surrounding agricultural and industrial areas. Despite its small size, Vähäjoki plays a significant role in the local ecosystem and is a popular destination for fishing and recreational activities.
